Adequate Staffing requires all employees to follow these safety standards at every assignment.
Safety is a shared responsibility, and every employee plays a critical role in preventing accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Adequate Staffing is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and clients. All employees must follow the safety requirements listed below at every job site. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or removal from assignments.
1. General Safety Expectations
Follow all client worksite safety rules and posted instructions.
Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or equipment immediately.
Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and potential hazards.
Never engage in horseplay, distractions, or unsafe behavior.
2. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Employees must wear PPE as required by the job site, including but not limited to:
Hard hats
Safety glasses
Steel‑toe boots
High‑visibility vests
Gloves
Hearing protection
Respirators (if required)
Employees are responsible for arriving with proper PPE unless otherwise provided by the client.
3. Equipment and Machinery Safety
Only operate equipment you are trained and authorized to use.
Inspect tools and equipment before use.
Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
Never bypass safety guards or controls.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures when applicable.
4. Hazard Awareness
Employees must be aware of common workplace hazards, including:
Slips, trips, and falls
Moving machinery
Electrical hazards
Chemical exposure
Sharp objects
Heavy lifting
Hot surfaces or materials
If you are unsure how to safely perform a task, ask your supervisor before proceeding.
5. Emergency Procedures
Know the location of emergency exits, alarms, and first‑aid stations.
Follow all emergency instructions from client supervisors.
Report injuries immediately, no matter how minor.
Do not leave the worksite during an emergency unless instructed.
6. Incident Reporting
All incidents must be reported to both the client supervisor and Adequate Staffing immediately, including:
Injuries
Near misses
Unsafe conditions
Equipment failures
Property damage
Prompt reporting ensures proper documentation and corrective action.
7. Substance Use Policy
Working under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Prescription medications that impair performance must be reported.
Violations may result in immediate removal from assignments.
8. Conduct and Behavior
Maintain professional behavior at all times.
Follow supervisor instructions promptly.
Avoid confrontations, arguments, or disruptive behavior.
Report conflicts or concerns to Adequate Staffing.
9. Worksite Access & Security
Follow all check‑in and check‑out procedures.
Wear required badges or identification.
Do not enter restricted areas without authorization.
Protect client property and equipment.
10. Lifting and Physical Safety
Use proper lifting techniques.
Ask for assistance with heavy or awkward loads.
Use mechanical lifting devices when available.
Take breaks as needed to avoid fatigue‑related injuries.
11. Weather & Environmental Safety
Dress appropriately for outdoor assignments.
Stay hydrated in hot conditions.
Use caution in rain, snow, or icy conditions.
Follow heat‑stress and cold‑stress guidelines.
12. Compliance
Employees must comply with all Adequate Staffing and client safety policies. Failure to follow safety requirements may result in:
Verbal or written warnings
Removal from assignments
Termination of employment opportunities
