Purpose
This checklist ensures all operational, safety, and compliance steps are completed before any employee leaves the office for a job assignment. It prevents dispatch errors, coverage gaps, and job‑site issues.
A. Verify Insurance & Compliance
Confirm Workers’ Compensation coverage is active for all dispatched workers
Confirm GLI coverage is active and certificate is accessible
Verify client contract is signed and stored
Confirm job order details (address, supervisor, duties, PPE, start time)
Check worker eligibility (onboarding completed, documents submitted)
B. Prepare Employee for Dispatch
Issue required PPE (vest, gloves, boots, glasses)
Provide job briefing (duties, hazards, expectations)
Confirm transportation (vehicle, fuel, GPS route)
Ensure phone is charged
Provide hydration if needed
Verify employee has ID
C. Prepare Office Documentation
Print timecards or confirm digital timekeeping
Prepare dispatch log
Confirm billing rate
Review overtime rules
Confirm emergency contact info
D. Final Office Checks
Confirm employee understands job duties
Review break schedule
Provide supervisor contact info
Document dispatch time
Ensure employee has Daily Field Report
