ADEQUATE STAFFING

CONFIRM WORKERS’ COMPENSATION (WC) COVERAGE

Purpose

This step ensures that Workers’ Compensation coverage is active, valid, and correctly configured before any employee is dispatched to a job site. No worker may be sent to a client location without verified WC coverage.

A. Verify Policy Status

  • Check that the WC policy is active and not expired.

  • Confirm premium is paid and no lapse or cancellation notice exists.

  • Verify coverage dates include today’s assignment date.

B. Confirm All Required DBAs Are Listed

Adequate Staffing must ensure the following DBAs appear on the WC policy:

  • Adequate Staffing

  • Adequate Senior Companions

  • Adequate Global Funding LLC

If any DBA is missing, do not dispatch until corrected.

C. Confirm Worker Eligibility

  • Worker must be an active employee.

  • Worker must have completed onboarding.

  • Worker must be listed under WC coverage (no GLI‑only dispatch unless Harold or Ami).

  • Worker must be performing duties within the WC‑approved scope.

D. Confirm Job Classification

  • Verify the correct WC class code is being used for the assignment.

  • Ensure the job duties match the classification (light industrial, warehouse, admin, etc.).

  • If duties change, update classification before dispatch.

E. Confirm Client Requirements

Some clients require proof of WC before allowing workers onsite.

  • Confirm client has received the COI.

  • Confirm client has approved the worker’s role.

  • Confirm client has no additional WC requirements.

F. Confirm Certificate of Insurance (COI)

  • COI must be current.

  • COI must list Adequate Staffing and all DBAs.

  • COI must list Workers’ Compensation coverage.

  • COI must be downloadable and printable.

G. Final Dispatch Approval

Dispatch is approved only when:

  • WC is active

  • DBAs are correct

  • Worker is eligible

  • Job classification matches

  • Client requirements are met

  • COI is verified

If any item fails, do not dispatch until corrected.
